Meet Chef Tenna
I come from a family that considers the kitchen as the heart of the home. I learned the basics of cooking from my mother, a fabulous southern cook, at an early age. While traveling extensively in the Caribbean, South America and Europe I embraced the cultures and cuisines and learned to be very adventurous with cooking. I am always adding to my repertoire of recipes and cookbooks.
While working in the corporate world and raising children, cooking became my creative outlet. Urged by family and friends I decided to follow my passion for cooking. Being a personal chef allows me to maintain my passion for food by cooking for one client at a time, unlike the restaurant industry. I have been trained by and am an active member of the American Personal & Private Chef Association and certified as a Food Safety Manager through ServSafe. I am licensed and insured.
Being a personal chef allows me to do three of my favorite things: shopping, cooking and nurturing.
